Urea Reactor Revamp

In 2018, Stellar carried out work on the reconstruction of the carbamide production of the client as part of the modernization program.

The main replacement and connection work was carried out in a limited space and was completed during a 45-day shutdown period.

One of the key installation operations was the replacement of the old carbamide synthesis reactor with a new one weighing 300 tons and 50 m long. Crawler cranes with lifting capacities of 600t and 750t were used to carry out such work.
